    TacSystems Topcoat 2.0

TacSystems has a new Topcoat out 2.0. I was a big fan of their 1.0. The problems with the 1.0 was the cost $129.99 and it came in a 100 ml bottle and you could do a whole car with 10ml. The bottle would go bad in about 60 days. If you happen to buy a bottle put it into smaller bottles so the air does not attack it. I would be willing to split a bottle with some one or three.

Now they have a new Topcoat 2.0, it’s only 50ml but the price is $187.99 which is some serious coin. The only feedback I get from the seller is that it is “amazing”. Now I will spend a ton of money on detailing supplies but this is a bit much. What do you think?

The Top Coat 2.0 here in Sweden is for certified installers only. They seem to be more for the pros these top coats. Would be nice with a more consumer top coating.

That`s in the range of some of the `pro` coatings for 50ml`s.

Definately a pricey item; as a Topcoat it better be sumthin` truly special for the price.

What I always like about Optimum - Syringes - starting at 10ml -

Coatings last a lot longer when you can eliminate all the air = Syringe -

Those crazy big amount bottles have to be for production shops that are moving coated vehicles all the time..

Good luck with this, RL !

I will agree, I didn`t know it was just a topper...even though the name of it. (LOL). Very pricey for a top coat...
