Maxxeon Lumenator 2nd Gen. w/ Astro light tagalong

I picked these up from Griot`s. The price was nice for how many I needed.
Got 4 with 2 Tripods, already had an Astro & wheeled tripod.
    Here goes..
I`m no way a pro. Just an Enthusiast in pursuit of the good life.

    Some Specs.

Power magnet is an add-on, nice to stick onto a cart side. Powerful so watch your fingers.

    Solid, sturdy and hefty metal

Astro, not so sturdy but close

The Tripod clip the light rests on, attaches with a knob or leave off for a quick handheld, the light will sit without it.

Set-up a charging station, w/ room for more.

GGs bag fit perfectly, used packaging bags alternatively for protection. Room for Blower Batts.

    Tripod bar assembly

    Lowest, highest Tripod settings

    On stand, fully assembled

Full blast ! Love Love these lights !!

Took one for a walkaround. Swirl spotting.

    Build quality is excellent.
    Sealed charge ports on both.
    Compact & portable.
I timed them at 2 1/2 Hrs run time on full, with the Lower 1800 lumen Astro 3 1/2 Hrs.
The charge time is maybe 2 Hrs. or less
I`m glad to cut the cord and may pick-up 2 more.
This to me makes more sense, no cords to trip on,
by the way the Astro Tripod was a tripping hazzard, the way the legs didn`t fold up, and it was half the height of Maxxeon`s (trashed)

Thanks for viewing, and hope this helps enlighten you

Your neighbors must wonder what that lady in parking spot 123 is up to

Very nice looking light and setup. I’m in need of some good lighting. I’ll have to take a look at these. Thanks for sharing.

At least you have a place to wash your car during our beautiful spring snow showers.

Not happy with this extended April Fools joke extending our winter out indefinitely.

Thanks, there`s no way I could afford to get Scangrip.

The Snow just walluped us..8in. Cold enough to freeze a layer of ice underneath. So I`m playing hooky from work tonight.

The Astro light I picked up from the River, was a set. Light with Tripod. (tripod which is now in the trash.)
The wheeled tripod was difficult to raise and lower, only 4` high, the legs jutted outward and didn`t fold up, cheap plastic office wheels.
(You can see it in the the background of the 9th pic.)
The Astro light is a very good lower lumen light, which most likely will get magnetized to the side of my cart.

Mary B- I`m trying to determine whether those lights would be good for seeing (very light) marring, so I`m curious about the pic of the doorhandle. I can`t really tell whether that`s showing flaws or not...just that the paint is in pretty, uhm...experienced...condition.

Sorry for the late reply Accumulator .
    Tried to get some pics.
Different paint colors and types, my neighbours unknowingly volunteered

I used the light on 500, 1000, 2100 lumens, really didn`t see much of a difference. 2100 was very bright and I found myself on 1000 the most.

Challenging, huh?!? I have lots of respect for some of the posters here who can really show stuff and you sure did well with this batch.

Many thanks, especially for that white Honda. Regulars here know how I don`t put much faith in internet pics, but that does give me something to go by.

Yeah, Inspection Lighting can be too bright sometimes, IMO it`s more about contrast than brightness, and how it does the "Point-source Illumination" thing.

Thanks again. I won`t say you`ve convinced me to buy `em, but you`ve given me a good intro to that option and I`m still kinda a sucker for supporting Richard anyhow so I`d like it if his lights did turn out to be right for me.
