    Review: Gyeon Bathe+

With temps close to 60 today, I had to get out and wash my car. So I decided to tryout a new car wash.
    Products used:
    Gyeon Bathe+
    CarPro Wool Wash Mitt
    Assorted wheel brushes
Lake Country Wool Wheel Washing Mitt
    TUF SHINE Tire Cleaner
    Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel
Carrand Brush & Shine Tire Dressing Applicator
Griots Garage PFM Terry Weave Drying Towel
    Metro Motorcycle Air Force Blaster

Here`s my car when I started. Silver hides a lot of dirt. But if you look close, it`s covered in road grime.

Got my supplies ready. Though the temp was warm, my well water is cold so long gloves are a must!

Gyeon Bathe+ initially suds well but the suds do diminish quite a bit over time. However, this is the slickest soap I`ve ever used. I rested my hand on a panel when reaching and even with my rubber gloves on, my hand slid right off!

I really like this soap, it easily cut through the road grime and break dust leaving a great finish even on a mostly cloudy day.

    My merlin shot

Since I have this snowblower cluttering my garage, I made use of it as a drying rack.

How would you describe this soap in terms of slickness? Is it foamy?

    a few q`s:
how much bathe+ did you use?

did you fill the bucket with water first or bathe+ and then water?

could you see it activating when you rinsed it off? like a white foamy type residue that rinses off

It`s not super foamy as the initial suds diminished leaving light suds while washing. This soap has SiO2 added to it so it makes it super slick and really glides over the surface.

I used a little over 1/2 oz to 3 gallons. I filled the bucket with approx 2 1/2 gallons before adding.

I didn`t notice any type of white foamy residue like you would see with wet coat. Gyeon claims the hydrophobic effects last a couple of weeks.

Myself, I didn`t see it activate either, but the Jeep I used it on was white. It rinsed off clean and easy, though. Here`s some notes from after using it,

"I took the Jeep on some off road trails the following Saturday. Plenty of dirt, many miles driven. Car looked cleaner than the other 8 that were there. Two days later I washed it with high pressure water (ONLY) at the local coin op, and it rinsed off easy and looked clean."

While not the same....I used Hydro2 on the trucks roof rails...
Surely some might over overspayed down the side windows during the rinse process.
    No film yet....

Is the issue being discussed prevalant for said sio2 based products when *applied* onto glass ?
I`ve considered Hydr02 on the sidewindows as a test bed, as there are other posters who have said it`s fine...but I`m hesitent to....
