Poorboy`s SSR 2.5 spot scratch polishing in the hot sun

This is really just show and tell: not a formal review

Owner asked me if I could do anything to a few scratches. Finished up car wash and returned with my Nano and a selection of Poorboy`s polishes.

SSR 2.5 on Nano w/blue rupes foam pad
Long neck, 12mm and the larger adapter

Finished off with yellow rupes pad and PWS for good measure.

Quite impressive IMO. There were a few other scratches like this across the vehicle but they were a littlw deeper and I was only able to knock them down a little bit. Didn`t take any pics of them. Long day.

    barely there now

    Stuff smells great too!

Easy on, easy off, sun or shade... just like advertised. And btw the panel was so hot I couldn`t touch it with my bare hands. And this stuff came off easier than some of my other products do inside my garage.

    Thanks for viewing

Is it an oily product? I need something like that. Sun friendly is a necessity this summer.

It`s so important, having sun/heat friendly products is amazing and allows you to get a tan instead of being a white recluse

    Very nice!

I`ve been waiting for summer to come around so I can mess with their products in the So Cal heat (you know, just for testing purposes).

I`m almost settled in my new home, so I`ll be getting around to more detailing stuff. yay

I didn`t notice it being oily... what specific products would you consider oily? maybe I have one of them and could get an idea of what you are talking about

    its a pretty thick consistency

sun friendly = Poorboy`s--- but I`m coming to find out that they are just fine when used in the garage too, haha - but I swear they work BETTER in the hot sun

Most Menzerna, and UP come to mind.

Several years back, I bought a car that was damaged by tunnel washes. SSR 2.5 knocked it flat in a hurry! Very good stuff.

I`ve had some pretty great 1 step results with SSR 2 as well - but 2.5 needs a follow up step in most cases

I still need to pick up SSR3 (I have Master cut coming)

Master Cut is a monster. Positively needs a follow-up step, but it`s a non-apologetic Compound. I`ve only used it for spot buffing RIDS, where it worked great.

haha...i remember reading that it almost seems like those products FAVOR the sun/heat. Maybe it was from AG`s product description (or the PBs page on AG)

In my case, it was *definitely* - But I had planned on following up anyway, in that case it was Professional Polish. It`s in this thread http://www.autopia.org/forums/click-...tml?highlight=
