    [B]Ingredients:
    - Water.
    - Cleaning Agents (2- Hexoxyethanol / Butoxypropanol / Acetic Acid).
    - Carriers (Propylene Glycol).
    - Wetting Agent (Sodium C14-17 Sec-Alkyl Sulfonate / Sodium Dodecylbenzene Sulfonate).
    - pH Adjuster (Lactic Acid).
    - SCJ Formula #35*17346.
    - Fragrance
(alpha.,3,3-trimethylcyclohexylmethyl formate; 2,6-dimethyl-7-octen-2-ol; 2-t-butylcyclohexyl acetate; benzyl acetate; c9-11 pareth-3; dipropylene glycol; ethyl acetoacetate; ethyl enantate; linalool; linalyl acetate)

    MSDS Chemical:
    - Ethyleneglycol Monohexylether: 1% - 5%
    - Volatile Organic Compounds: .5%
    - pH 3.3

    General thoughts and impressions:
    - Noticeable scent, somewhat strong, lingers for a long period of time.
    - Nice consistency with light suds.
    - Product dwells, not runs, really like this quality.
    - Buffs in nicely.
    - Dries fast, not rapidly.
    - Crisp clean quality.
    - Thin clarity.
    - Average quality glass cleaner, C.
    - No comparison at all to Original Windex in regards to its ability to clean glass.
    - Outstanding surface cleaner.
(Cleaned the plastic on my headlights better than it cleaned the actual glass).
    - Possibly another product that seems to do better over time, as in cure time.
    - Product seemed to offer better results after several hours vs initial application.

    Note on scent:
The scent is like apple cider vinegar meets Isopropanol.
It is noticeable and somewhat strong.
I would consider it a negative point.
It is not a bad scent, but it is not the most pleasing scent.
It lingers for a prolonged period of time.
On a positive note regarding scent, there is what I would describe as a medicinal quality to it.
For anyone who suffers from severe allergies, or is affected by cold and flu season, this scent can really open up the sinuses for extended periods of time.

Would I recommend for auto glass:
    - Production detailing: No.
    - Personal detailing: No.
    - Decontamination and non glass surface cleaning: Yes.

Does product live up to its advertising:
    Yes.
However, it is just not a fantastic glass cleaner specifically.
It can be used on glass, I would just not recommend it.

    Final Thoughts:
    - This product might be good to have in the inventory for its decontamination ability.
    - It really is a great surface cleaner.
    - Can live without this product for auto detailing.

Nice review. I use the Windex Multi-Surface Cleaner on my granite counter tops. It cleans well and disinfects. I might also give this one a try.

I was probably a little tough on this product in my review.
I am looking at it with a critical eye.
I also test all glass cleaners in worst case scenarios, and often on poor condition glass.
If your auto glass is in good condition, and is already cleaned from the washing process, then this product is probably ok.

Nice to see a review of this "not hardcore detailing product" stuff. The earlier version of Windex`s vinegar glass cleaner worked surprisingly well for me, but that was ages ago and stuff always changes.

I looked more into the ingredients and found a substantial amount of info.
    Two things stands out.
    - At no point is Vinegar listed as an ingredient.
    - Why is there not more info listed in the MSDS on the totality of chemicals used?

    Ingredients:
    - Water.
    - Cleaning Agents (2- Hexoxyethanol / Butoxypropanol / Acetic Acid).
    - Carriers (Propylene Glycol).

    Vanev -
Thanks for a great review ! You Rocked it !

My experiences with Windex have never been positive..
It almost always needs a lot of extra wiping because it`s not that great a cleaner and it streaks..
I just don`t have and don`t want to waste time with it..

Well, I do generally *know* stuff like that...but then I was raised back when kids studied Chemistry as a hobby and learned such stuff as part of just growing up. I`m just so [darn] careless about reading a thread through before I fire off a post sometimes.

Heh heh, even used to know the general guidelines for the various strengths of it back when it was commonly available in potent forms, but that`s something I`m *not* nerd-enough to have retained
