The new BF product appears to be doing its job.

Now, if you will excuse me, I must go pray for wisdom from the Meguiar`s gods.
Fantastic review and thank you for the update. It looks like the Blackfire will be something I will try. I have Wolfgang and Black Wow and Black Wow does not last long after initial application. Your test just confirms it. The Wolfgang is OK, however, based on your results I will check out Blackfire. Again, excellent review.
Paul is getting demoted today!
Ben all this time I thought you were a nice guy
I will say I let this cover go too long without being treated and well it is near the beach a lot so it has had its fair share of sun!
Hopefully when this test is over we can take the best one and apply several coats to bring this baby back to life.

After 4 weeks being hammered by the Florida Sun & Rain only 4 of the Vinyl Protectants are still looking good on the tonneau cover -
Blackfire has the Darkest look with the most shine.
Wolfgang has faded slightly and looks very similar to Forever Black now.
Forever Black looks very similar to how it did when it was applied.
Ultima Has faded slightly and looks spotty in a few places.
Overall I`m very impressed with the performance of all of these, a month of the brutal Florida summer is no task yet these have held up well on this neglected tonneau which was so dried out that it really needs several more coats of these products to be revitalized.
Week #4:
Here are some close ups of how these have held up after 4 weeks:
Poorboys is on the left - Mystery right
Wolfgang on the left - Hd on the Right
Blackfire on the left - Forever Black on the right
Perl on the left - Ultima on the right
Black Wow on the left - Meguiars on the right.

I need to try Ultima on my tonneau cover. PERL is ok but not getting the best durability.

Excellent review. I just used Mothers VLR on my tonneau cover that I bought new in July 2014. I am not sure how the VLR compares to any of the proucts used in this review.

And 8 weeks later here is how everything has held up:
Forever Black, Ultima have faded a lot since we last checked in, Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant has also faded slighty.
Blackfire is still looking strong and after 2 months has the darkest finish.

Either Wolfgang or Boackfire look to be excellent products. Have tried and liked both.
