    Found Good Towel Stain Remover

Was at my mom`s house and she handed me this stuff when I was leaving (she`s always handing my random stuff). She said it`s "good for stains". It`s a detergent called Persil.

Anyway, I had some stained MFs - so I decided to try it. No, it didn`t take any pics - but it did remove the stains that weren`t coming out with DP MF cleaner.

After washing with this stuff, I ran DP MF cleaner and towels came out pretty much stain free. So, if you have some stained towels - try this stuff.

I think I saw that advertised as being only available at Walmart. I will look there

Dunno where it came from, as my mom gave it to me. But I noticed the towels came out very vibrant looking (colors). I had some nasty old towels I washed with it that came out very clean looking. So, I like it.

If it`s Walmart only - I hate that place.

    Yes.

In all fair disclosure, my mom gave me homemade meatballs, sausage, linguini, sauce, and Chicken Kiev at the same time - and they were good as well.

So you just did a regular wash with it? Or did you use the Persil as some sort of spot treatment?

Why did you decide to wash again after with your DP MF cleaner? Or did I misunderstand?

Not able to get camera in my stomach. Meatballs are awesome. My mom won`t buy "ground beef" from a grocery store, she goes to a butcher and he grinds it fresh. Sauce is homemade as well.

First I washed with the Persil, then I washed with DP MF cleaner to remove any remnants (like fabric softener) the Persil may have left behind. Pretty happy with this combo for stained towels.

Cool, thanks for sharing. I figured my stained towels are going to stay that way until I pony up for one of those fancy front-loaders with the sterilize cycle which is supposed to take those pesky MF stains out in only 2.5 hours or something. I`ll look into the Persil.

Did you add distilled white vinegar to either of the rinse cycles?

Thanks! I`ve got a lot of stained MF towels that micro restore cleans well but doesn`t remove. I will give this a shot.
