I hand wax my subaru on sunday and since then there has been a dust storm, rain storm, and bird poop storm. I`m a college student, so my car is always parked outside. Today I had some time and decided to use Meguires QD to remove the bird droppings. With a little QD and a towel the droppings came right out and left no discoloration or hazing. The paint surface, after QD, still felt as if it was freshly waxed. IMO the QD did not remove any of the NXT wax.
In contrast I used Meguires QD with Zymol cleaner wax and found them to not as well. IMO the QD removed some of the Zymol wax. My observations after using QD ontop of Zymol wax were: rougher paint surfacer, hazing upon removing dust or droppings, and lost of shine. I am very impressed by how well Meguire`s NXT and QD work when used together.
