First Detail
Here goes, pics of my first detail for all to view. Still a virgin, so be gentle. Nothing had been done to the car in 4 years. I`ll avoid the lengthy story, so in short here`s what I did:
Wash
Clay (whole car-what a task, but SMOOTH)
Wash (clay residue everywhere)
SSR1 (w/PC)
PWC (w/PC)
I also need to figure out how to get some of the scratches/spiderwebs out before finishing with a wax. Thinking about SSR2.5 or similar in a few weeks.
I read many posts here to get an idea of what to do and appreciate everyone sharing their knowledge. Thank you. So I got some product from Dwayne and PB, then jumped right in. What a difference the PC makes! (pics in before/after sequence below)

Looks like tire dressing overspray. How long did it take you?

Looks Good Nice Job.
I may take the "PC Plunge" here in a few months.

JB, I don`t recall any damage to the paint but will check it out tonight. Could be a reflection off something in the driveway. I`ve got an after picture of the hood with a 3 inch scratch in it. Looks deep. Plus minor finger nail/bush scratches. Removal of those will be my next learning step.
ER, yeah, got a little carried away with BnB. It was quite the undertaking as I really wanted to do it right by not rushing. And looking at the progression as I finished each panel. All in the process took 6hrs. I haven`t gotten to the inside yet. That may take just as long!
91, do it. What a difference in applying and working product. It was sooo easy.
