I decided to do my own rig today......

I had a woman cancel her Audi, so I had a Saturday by myself. I know the pis are cloudy, cause it was about to rain.....



Vac Interior
Extracted carpet and front seat with Wellworth`s Soap
Cleaned glass with Stoner`s and MF
Scrubed tires (inside and out) with Simple Green 2:1
Washed
Polished exterior glass with Diamondie
Clayed with Clay Magic`s Blue bar
Washed again
Presure washed underside
Dryed with Absorber
Rotary with Malco "Rapid Cut" at 1200 RPM`s with blue pad
Buffed with Malco "Mag II Polish" with yellow pad (I have a GEM buffer.....old school)
Buffed on Meguair`s NXT with white finishing pad
Sparyed "Gloss All" on tires.

Looks I feel your pain about big trucks cars alot easier but trucks show the detail much better.

Yea, It pretty easy to spiff up my truck as it never gets nasty. I am kinda bumed over the pics. I use a 8ft ladder and stand in the bed to get the top of it. Wife`s Volvo is a easy one too.

Looks great! You probably used about a can of tire protectant on each wheel though. Awsome truck!

Beautiful! I`m a ford truck man too. I just spent 3 days on mine over the weekend. Not a lot of business on a holiday weekend.

Yea, I love the billett grills, but sorta hard to clean and polish those little strips.....lol. The tires are a bit of a hassle. They never get alot of brake dust/grime build up, just dressing build up. I try to give them a satin look, but their hard to buff out with all the nooks and cranies on the exterior. I always have to clean them twice to fully remove all the dressing so I can start with a clean, dry tires. If I didn`t and just reapplied over the old stuff, FLING all over the place. I do alot of lifted/show trucks. Mainly becasuse someone is asking how I keep it so clean or what I use on it, then I roll into detailing. Holiday weekend are the worst about cancelations.

I use Poorboys Pro Polish on my Billet grill and it works awesome. Better than any metal polish I`ve tried so far. Just my opinion.
