Haha, please enlighten me...Open for suggestions, not pretending to know everything here :)
And really this is just for friends and fam to start out. It just helps me to have everything listed in writing too. I already adjusted some prices so they are lower as well.
Re: Detailing price sheet
having nice skills and the understanding of detailing since its is art and a science. Build up a client base, take alot of good pics, build up a nice quality product line. It takes time to where it flows. Learn your competition also

Thanks!
Re: Detailing price sheet
For me I offer only two detail services...one for full details and the other is wash and wax that is only preformed after the full detail is done as maintenance.
I think what you have laid out is OK, but it (to me) offers WAY to many options to the customer to pick and choose, which allows some people to nickel and dime you to death.
If your goal is to be a detailer, then offer that service, if you want to be a wash and wax service then do that. To me it looks like your trying to piece the two together.
Re: Detailing price sheet
Alright, thanks for the help guys. I adjusted some prices, and combined the first 4 services into 2 with the option of interior or not. Definitely less overwhelming.
Re: Detailing price sheet
Shooting for high $ right out of the gate isnt even realistic. It takes years to be able to upsell like that and actually be able to pull the work off. Selling show car work for example...what are you going to do when a guy calls you on it and brings you a 40 Ford that needs to be wetsanded and buffed in 12 hours so he can make a show the next day? Or what if your called to polish a 55 Chevy survivor with original paint? Not trying to sound like a dick, but your not ready for that.

I agree! If someone came to me with either of those cars I would DEFINITELY decline as I am not skilled to do that. This is really just for friends and acquaintances right now (2-4 cars a month...more weekend DIY`er just trying to get started) but I still wanted to have a price point in writing so I can be consistent and base things off of. Also that way customers don`t think I`m just pulling a $ number out of the blue and don`t have any reasoning behind it. And so far on every inquire I`ve gotten I haven`t upcharged anything and offer all the "extra" stuff for free as I am just starting off.
You`re not sounding like a dick. Honest feedback is what I was looking for.

Re: Detailing price sheet
Looks good if you were in Cleveland I would pay for it :)
Re: Detailing price sheet
I understand what you are trying to accomplish, but this reads way confusing to me, and I understand the detail biz. I have to wonder what it`s going to be like for someone that doesn`t? Most people don`t have a clue what half the processes are, or care. What they want is a very clean car back at what is a reasonable price for the service.
I learned early on with prospects in all most all cases, they less you explain the better off you are. As I stated earlier I have two detail services.
My suggestion is that since you are just starting out, attack the wash / wax approach. Learn your processes and techniques while not charging a premium. If your going to state "show room" in your delivery be experienced enough to deliver that, you would be surprised how particular some can get when they think your wash / wax service isn`t up to show room quality.

Re: Detailing price sheet
Just a suggestion, you might want to include an estimate of time besides each package. Like Beemer says some people will be clueless and think you can do a package in an hour on a horsecrap covered auto with mashed in baby spew in the seats...just a rough estimate so no one is suprised something might take 2 hours when they are thinking local 10 min carwash.
