Review: S100 Polishing Soap
recently been in love with S100 polishing soap. How did I ever get by without this product? Been using it on all sorts of stuff including this:
friend of mine was having a garage sale. there was this old metal table / shelving unit thats been in the backyard for months. exposed to the elements. it was gonna be used to rest items for sale. Gave it a real good citrus wash but was still left with some rust spots and just a crappy looking surface.
So I took 5 mins, S100 polishing soap, and my camera. As you`ll see in the pics, it really made a difference and removed the majority of the obvious rust spots.
I follow the manufacturer recommendations to wet the applicator sponge, and squeeze out excess water (but not all of it). then work the applicator into the soap until it lathers up. Then work that lather on the surface with the sponge. S100 recommends speed over pressure when polishing metal.
You could either buff off or rinse the product. I typically rinse, while wiping with my hand at the same time. this just ensures no product residue remains on the surface. I usually wipe dry after that so no new water spots form
have a look....

That`s really quite impressive. I`d say this is one of the (many) products that get overlooked.
