Anyone ever used these pads? (pics)

Anyone ever used pads like this before? I used them today and really liked them. The black pad in the pic is almost like a finishing pad, VERY soft. I have used speed glaze and #9, both with great results. There is also an orange cutting pad that I have not used yet. If you have used these types of pads before, what did use them for? How do they fit into your pad collection? Just wondering.

How would you compare them to the Edge. ?

They are no where near the quality of edge pads, I just wondered how people fit pads like this into their detail.

EBP,

These pads are a knock off from the "waffle" design but instead of a waffle pattern they have bumps but the principle is the same in that the bumps/waffles allow air to circulate more freely through the pad as it spins thus dissipating the heat build up.

I have not used the pads personally but I hear they do not work as well as the original waffle design. Other pads that copied this are the ones with the holes in them or they have sliced wedges cut out of them.

OK, kind of like the S.M. Arnold "cool it" pads? I liked these pads OK, but I don`t think they will last because the velcro seems to be inadequately bonded, we`ll see.
