845 and hybrid wax touch-ups..
I purchased a 2018 Lincoln MKC reserve with 32k miles and white metallic platinum tri-coat paint in great condition. I used collinite 845 after reading reviews and am happy with the results ( I don`t think I am going to get a better wetter look with white paint). Am I wasting my time, or hurting anything, by touching it up occasionally with car guys Hybrid wax? it`s 15min of work and returns that buttery smooth feel to the paint. I am not sure it helps with shine so much, it`s more of a personal preference thing with me.

I don`t think using a spray wax over #845 is a waste or harmful. You are just adding some additional slickness and protection. My persona choice of spray wax in this case would be Optimum Spray Wax. But that is personal preference.

Agree. I used Megiuars Quik Wax among others when I used 845. Never saw any issues and was always pleased with the results.

For a spray wax I like TW Ice the new one, DG Aqua Wax, DG Fast Clean and Shine.

Great, appreciate the replies. I may try another when this is used up.

TW Ice is insanely inexpensive and surprisingly effective.
