Now it is a proper luxury vehicle! Well done!
Re: 2002 Bentley Arnage - Black / A Miracle Detailing / Merlin`s Concours Wax
Deep, very deep. Super job.
Re: 2002 Bentley Arnage - Black / A Miracle Detailing / Merlin`s Concours Wax
Paint is utterly incredible when properly cared for! By any chance, did you measure paint thickness with the gage, Merlin?
Re: 2002 Bentley Arnage - Black / A Miracle Detailing / Merlin`s Concours Wax
Merlin:
Is your Merlin "Enchanted" Concours Wax available and for sale to the detailing public or is it a proprietary custom-blend made for your use ONLY?
Did you use a special metal or chrome polish for the chromed wheels and metal trim/britework on this Bentley??
Cannot imagine how long it took and what you did to detail the intricate lattice design of the front grill alone.
Seems like you favor and use the Scholl Concepts Shock 2 Compound and Meg`s M210 Ultra-Pro Polish as a "one-two punch" on many of the vehicles you post. Just an observation...
[Captain Obvious questions. Now you know what Sizzle Chest and Mike lambert (where is he these days?!) go through!!]
To you, Merlin, Sizzle Chest, and Mike lambert: I am also impressed that your photography skills rival that of your detailing prowess and expertise. Kudos to you all!
Thanks for posting pics on this incredible luxury car and making it look just that: incredible!
One thing most high-end cars do not have in their paint like their "more pedestrian" counterparts do: ORANGE PEEL.

The before and after was amazing! Lots of real estate on the sedan.
He was super happy with the results.

Yes I did. It was in the 325 to 350 range.

Merlin`s "Enchanted" Concours Wax is based on "...some ancient arcane knowledge and a little wizardry".
It is a proprietary custom-blend that I hand pour in small limited quantities. it is available to the public.
For the britework I used Scholl Concepts Premium Metal Polish

The Scholl`s S2 Shock and M210 has become my new 1-2 go-to for many paints.

Thank You...I don`t think my photography skills are all that good.
I do the videos with a iPhone6 and the pics with an inexpensive Nikon kit

IIRC OEM Orange peel is done with intent (by robots) from the factory to hide the warp/waves in the metal panels

This is part of his review...
"Mike did a fantastic job on my 18 year old sedan. He gave new life to my car and I am blown away with the results. Mike is truly a master at his craft.
The black paint work before he started was full of spider webs, swirls and scratches... once he was done the car had a deep, inky black that just looks beautiful.
I couldn`t be happier with his work."
Pretty kewl...

Well, if they are "male" robots, they are one B-word and/or if they are "female" robots, they are another B-word. (The anti-swear, anti-foul language software of this forum will NOT let me use those B-words, and rightly so!... but you know what I mean.)
So, car manufacturers add surface paint "defects" to hide metal working "defects" on purpose?? Is the vehicle-buying customer that "gullible"?? Then we have the Dealer-installed Isolated Swirls "Option" (DISO) to "detract" from them both??
Should not complain: many professional detailers are making a living correcting these OEM/Dealer faux pas!
I was of the adage, "Two wrongs do not make a right", but I guess "There is an exception to every rule". (Oh ya, how could we forget; Captain Obvious is also Captain Cliche! )
Re: 2002 Bentley Arnage - Black / A Miracle Detailing / Merlin`s Concours Wax
Merlin this is a beautiful detail on a beautiful car. And this is one of my all time favorite detail pics.

I really do like this pic. Just, so beautiful.
Not often do I want to touch the paint (cuz we all know better), but this one....man, I want to rub the back of my hand over that hood.
