Wheel ACID
Just doing some garage cleanup.....and came across this bottle
So who`s still using Acid on your wheels.
I would not say I have reached detailing nirvana (don`t wanna jinx it), but I have not needed to use Acid in the last few years...
WB was always a one yearly use staple - right after winter, on the backside of the wheel is, where all the little nooks and crannies, I always use to give it a pre-dwell/was with Acid as it was the most efficient method for me to get it deep down clean.

Re: Wheel ACID
Save it, use it on exhaust tips. Works great.

Re: Wheel ACID
I use WB works great as maintenance on wheels I don’t need to agitate that way

Re: Wheel ACID
Anybody ever have any issues with acidic Wheel Cleaners messing with the finish of the wheels, or attacking the aluminum in areas where the finish is compromised?
I`ve only used one such product (an oldie from TOL that I got in the `80s when we had the dealership) and only needed it when cleaning up old/neglected wheels on new-to-me vehicles.

Re: Wheel ACID
I use it once or twice a year; usually when I’m pulling off the wheels for some reason. If used as directed; it’s completely safe for powder coated wheels. Seems to deep clean them better than anything else. Works better than any bleeding iron stuff as well.
