Re: BOSS using foam sprayer?
I`d love to be able to answer your question, but I`m not really sure anyone can. Will the products be less effective from a gun vs a cannon...due to the difference in foam density and dwell time, I`d say it`s more than likely....but I`m guessing you`ve already figured that part out. I`m a big fan of the Surface Wash, and if I get a break from work and a break in the weather, I`ll mix some up in the foam gun and see if I can come up with a way to measure the difference.
Re: BOSS using foam sprayer?
The foam is not as thick, but just as effective. I’ve used it both ways without a difference in performance.

So....just a question...How can that be if the foam thickness impacts dwell and/or bonding time (in the case of Poly Gloss)?
Re: BOSS using foam sprayer?
I don’t think that the thickness effects the dwelling time of these products. Although the foam cannon will produce thicker foam, I’ve seen no difference in the performance of the product. Which I believe is why they recommend it for any of the foaming devices they make.
Re: BOSS using foam sprayer?
Mike,
Using the foam gun (not foam cannon) is their surface wash any better than their brilliant shampoo?
Re: BOSS using foam sprayer?
Yes it is, short answer, designed to clean better
Re: BOSS using foam sprayer?
Is there situations that Surface Wash wouldn`t/isn`t effective? I`m assuming going off roading in the mud is too much, but what about a week of driving with a bunch of days that rained? Would you still have to do a contact wash after?
Re: BOSS using foam sprayer?
I’d say without a pressure washer yes, I’ve done mine which sits outside a lot with the wash but rinsing with the pressure washer and didn’t have to. But, just check after and see. Always better to be on the safe side.
