Welcome to the forum. I have a C6 as well, probably one of the most detailer friendly cars ever.
Aligator- Welcome to Autopia!
That `vette, and especially your doing the Detailing, oughta keep you nice and young for a good long time :D FWIW, my late father was just getting the hang of using the polisher around your age after having me do that part of it for so long, and was still doing such stuff for years after that.
Welcome!
I wish I could get my neighbor who is around your age to detail. It does keep you young. I hope the bug has bitten hard!
Welcome sir! Beautiful car and am a convertible guy myself

Gator, I hope to be doing the same when I get there. ;) Welcome to the forum, you made my day.
Thank you all. As soon as the rain stops I am going to start from "scratch"(so to speak). Wash, Clay, polish, glaze and wax. Working on the wheels and tail pipes now. When ever my wife get ready to order from Amazon she ask me if I need anything for "my" car. Yes it keeps me going. I am 82 and she is 80, been married 61 years. I am in Dixon, Ca.
Welcome to the forum Aligator!

Welcome! And great for you!
Stokdgshttps://www.autopia.org/forums/image...ser-online.pngI know your town. My granddaughter played volleyball for Yuba city club team. Made many trips from Dixon to Yuba CC where they practice. Being retired Air Force I also go to Beal AFB from time to time.
Aligator It`s a small world, isn`t it?? :)
Before I was born, my Dad and 1 of his 5 brothers were transferred to Beale AFB for their flight to the Philippines Islands in WWII..
The other 3 Luckies parachuted into Normandy behind the German lines the night before D-Day.. All 101st Airborne.. Think Band of Brothers.. They all spent almost a year there before they got relieved of duty.. Lucky they all got out of there alive.. Wounded, but alive..
I spent 6 years in the USAF as a 29150, 1967-1973..
Since I didn`t retire, I cant use the facilities at the Bases..
Aren`t you closer to Travis AFB? Or is it gone now?
Finished my tour of duty at McClellan AFB, North Highlands, CA., (Sacramento).. Its been gone awhile, as well as Mather AFB..
Glad you know how to get to Yuba City - it probably has not changed much since you last were here.. :)

Travis is better then ever and that is where I do most of shopping. When ever we are out and about we stop in at various bases.
