SS Door sill care

Pic is just a example. My ZR2 came factory with the door sill plates. Like the Silverado Z71. My understanding is they are SS. If you look at them, they scratch. I realize they are going to get abused. But what would be a SAFE metal product to maintain them? I looked at P21S mutil surface cleaner. Flitz. And Wenol blue. As anyone dealt with detailing these, and what product is safe to use here?
