Hey all, time I did an intro after a few months of eves dropping. I`ve been detailing my own rides since I got my license a looong time ago. My first car was an 87 celica, then 93 accord, then 11 G37...all manuals. Since then found a wife and produced an offspring so i sold the G37, inherited my wifes CX-5 and baught a Highlander together. No more manuals and I miss them a lot.
Anyhow, i started off with one of those blue plastic orbital buffers with two handles and a 10 inch pad and some chemicals from pepboys. Then graduated to the porter cable and have been practicing with some mid-tier stuff you can get online ever since.
Its been a great ride thus far and I feel that unless I`m cleaning and detailing my own rides I`m really just a passenger. There`s no better way to be an owner.
