Need ceramic coat on top of full PPF?
Im getting full PPF done with suntek ultra. Its already quite a bit of money just to do that. To get it ceramic coated is another decent chunk of change.
Is it really that important to put the ceramic coat on top of it? I`m hearing ceramic coat makes it easier to clean. I thought that was one of the main draws of getting ppf? Thanks.

The main draw of PPF is protection. You are still going to want to maintain the PPF to ensure its life as even they need to be replaced after a certain number of years. They can still get etched with bird droppings etc. This happened to my PPF.
Have you considered just buying a coating and doing it yourself? Plenty of options to choose from for Non Pro coatings. You would save yourself a lot of money and its really not overly complicated to do if you take your time.

Tks for the reply. What is your opinion of the stuff from 22ple ?
Re: Need ceramic coat on top of full PPF?
PPF is still very prone to etching from my experience. I always recommend having it coated for that reason but it does make cleaning easier too.

Yup, essentially if you leave bird droppings or bug splatter for a long time on the PPF, the acids can still eat into the PPF causing damage (similar to what it would do to your paint). While its good it is not your paint you still want to make sure the PPF is maintained properly since you have invested money in it. So to Rasky`s point coating it will help maintain the PPF, make it easier to clean, and just generally look better.
I can`t speak to 22ple personally as I have never used the products before but I know there are people on here who have and plenty of reviews on their coatings/ products if you google it as well.
I can recommend Gyeon and CarPro coatings as ease of use for beginners. I know certain companies now also make coatings geared specific to topping PPF as well but again no experience with those.

I would say yes coat the PPf. I coated mine. I like the IGL products right now but there are plenty of good options.
