What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
I have only used a few so far. My favorite right now is Wolfgang Uber. I do have a few on deck to try. They are Duragloss and UWW+. The good sales at these sites (pbmg) had me stock up faster than I can use it. I almost picked up McKee`s wash and wax, but I will wait a bit. The weather and my schedule has not helped either. Thanks for playing

Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
I use WG Uber on non-ceramic LSPs and Mckees N-914 on Ceramic Coated cars.
-
Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
Used ONR from day one then tried UWW+ a couple of years ago and never looked back. Economical and creates a very slick surface.
-
Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
ECH20 by CarPro.
WG Uber.
I like those as Waterless washes as much as Rinseless.
-
Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
How durable is the protection with Uber and Ultima WW+?
-
Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
ECH2O and N-914. Does anyone know what N-914 stands for?
-
Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
Griot’s rinseless wash and wax, extremely versatile product. Pre soak, wash, rinse aid , drying aid, clay lube, and detailer.
-
Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
McKee`s N914
Meguiar`s D114 (yup still have a couple gallons of it)
Ech20 (for coated paint here and there as it`s not the most economical)
ONR is still good but I rarely use it these days

Nick won`t come out and say. I think it`s going to the grave with him lol.

A few rains. Or a traditional wash. It`s gone.

Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
McKees N 914 on our coated cars.
-
Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
I`ve used Ech2O, ONR, UWW and Uber. Have blackfire but haven`t tried it yet. ONR is my favorite so far. Rinses cleaner and leaves the paint more bare. Uber and UWW are very similar to each other both milkier in consistency and leave a lot on the surface of the paint. Good products and they`re very versatile- I like them as QD or clay lube but they tend to leave steaks ime, so they`re not my favorite as a rinseless wash.
-
Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
Pinnacle washless with Carnauba. One of, if not the, most glossy of the bunch.
-
Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
My favorite for vehicles in decent shape - Garry Dean`s Forever Rinseless (I`ll assume if you are doing a rinseless, the vehicle is decent). Have and tried Griots, McKee`s and the original IUDJ, all good. They pail in comparison to Forever Rinseless. Great cleaning, great gloss, the slickness is unbelievable and I get 3 months protection using the rinseless dilution (1 ounce to a gallon). It is my go to rinseless, quick touch up, interior wipe down and sometimes use as LSP after a traditional wash. Wouldn`t use if planning additional correcting/polishing/LSP`ing after, but great results as a one and done product.
-
Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
IUDJ
I`m gradually using up my ONR on household stuff (although IUDJ is used for some of those too).
jatleson- How would you compare the FR with IUDJ + JB? Guess what I`m really asking is "why use FR instead?"
Interesting that you wouldn`t use FR if subsequently LSPing, that might be one of the big diffs, huh? (And would possibly be a reason why I might not like it as well.)

I have both IUDJ+JB combo and FR. FR leaves a noticeable slicker and glossier finish. Since it replaces both, also happens to be more cost efficient. Reason why I don`t use FR if doing additional steps is because I don`t need it for the protection, so why waste an expensive product. If your car is already in great shape, FR as a final step is awesome. I just did a car with all Garry Dean products - Stripper Soap, EVO AIO, Force Field Pro 5 coating, Force Field Boost. Now a quick rinseless with FR and it is good to go, no additional steps needed.
-
Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
jatleson- OK, thanks for the explanation. I`ll be thinking about the FR when it comes time to restock :D Sounds like just the thing for most of what I do with IUDJ (and I`d been planning to add the JB at some point).

Do you mean waterless? Can this be used as a rinsless with a different ratio ?

I mis-understood the thread, was thinking it was a waterless thread. My bad. I’ll add Pinnacle Rinseless as my input, which has similar qualities (carnauba, good gloss, especially when used as a QD). I like both when my car wears a carnauba LSP/topper.

If my suspicion is right, then it doesn`t surprise me that Garry`s products work well, because my suspicion is that his products are made by the Ultima/Sonus/Four Star camp, not far from where he`s located, with Garry`s input of course.

Things that make you go HMMMMM. Regardless, it is good stuff.

Not identical but do seem similar. Just pricey though.

Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
I’ve really been enjoying using The Gloss Shop’s new Sublime Express Wash rinseless wash. If you like D114 and/or N914, you will really like this product.
The cleaning ability is great and it dries quickly. All you need to do is waive a Griots PFM towel near this stuff and it dries to a streak free finish. You can easily dry an entire vehicle with a 16x16 PFM and it hardly feels wet. A very unique product.
The price is reasonable and not anywhere near Garry Dean’s. [emoji6]
If you like rinseless/waterless products that leave nothing behind, definitely check this one out.

Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
I like forever rinseless. Besides having great slickness and smelling nice, it also reinforces my acrylic coating with every usage. It is really expensive though.

I figured that was the case too considering all his early stuff online was using Ultima and Sonus products and I think may have even had video there
I imagined he had them produce his line of products considering most don’t have a chemical factory if there own let alone chemists lol

It is pricey. I use it at 1 oz to gallon dilution for everything (rinseless, prewash, final wipe down), so I figure it is a little less than 4 a gallon. I`m also a fan of the guy who sets goals, hustles and makes it happen, regardless of the industry. For that alone, I`m willing to give his products a shot.

That.
Garry is Good People. While I sometimes snicker (or worse) over his online persona, and I sure don`t agree with him on some topics (to put it mildly!), he`s 100% stand-up and somebody I`m happy to patronize. There are a few Detailing Supply companies I simply *hate* doing business with, but that`s not the case with Garry.
I`ll have to do some thinking/figuring about which of his Rinseless approaches is right for me, but one way or another I sure plan to do business with *him*.

Question - when you say you get "3 months of protection using the rinseless dilution" how does a that happen? Is there some kind of wax in this product?

I just happen to be checking e-mail now. My wife took my project for the day out. FR has the acrylics that are in the rest of his line. First time I used it, I was shooked at how slick the paint was. It is great as a rinseless, also great for exterior glass.
Here are some pictures for attention (got the front clip coated last night, full write up to follow):

Why not Uber on Ceramic Coated cars? Thanks.
-
Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
WG Uber. I get it by the gallon when it`s on sale BOGO or around the holidays when Gift Certs are popular.

Uber leaves polymers behind. Where as N-914 leaves nothing behind. I don`t mind the polymers over sealants and waxes. Sometimes it even enhances the water behavior. IMHO it reduces the water behavior on my coated cars.

Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
I`ve used UWW,Megs D114,and Pinnacle. I think that the D114 cleans the best and the Pinnacle is the glossiest. The UWW is between the two.
I`m wanting to try The Gloss Shop products. I do,however, have over 1/2 gal. each of the Pinnacle and the D114. And a couple bottles of the UWW concentrate.
Oh,and I just ordered some Griot`s Foaming Surface prep,Surface Wash and Foaming Poly Gloss.
Am I getting like Accumulator? Less his skill and attention to detail,of course. :-)
PS: Apparently,I have two user names. The other one is Older. My original one wasn`t working.
PSS: Moderator: Is there a way to eliminate one? Thank you.

Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
Prange/Older- Heh heh, if you were *really* like me you`d have some IUDJ along with those other RWs ;) Couldn`t resist an opportunity to post something about how I like that stuff!

I thought about getting IUDJ a few years ago, but I had way too many RW`s at the time. Unlike nowhttps://www.autopia.org/forums/images/icons/icon7.png
You have talked me into trying FK1000p. A friend of mine has a tin and he loves it.
And I`m just about out of 476s. I do,however have 3/4ths of a tin of 915. The 915 was my go-to on my wife`s Infiniti. It really looked great on her Graphite Shadow colored car. It also lasted a year on her low-mileage,garage-kept car.

I should probably send you the remainder of my bottle. This is my least favorite. It was the first one I tried and I almost never tried another. Back when Nick (McKees) was with AG he tried to tell me I was using it wrong. I like Nick but there is only so many ways to do a rinseless wash. Definitely not user error in this case.
What other rinseless products have you tried and what do you like about Pinnacle? I didn’t find it to be slick or leave a good shine or encapsulate dirt very well.

Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
*BUMP* this thread since there`s not a whole lot I can find about Forever rinseless online.
I`m looking for a new waterless product, wanted something with a lot of added protection. The SIO2 infused waterless`es from Wolfgang and others look good, but are expensive and are just RTU. $80 for a gallon you gotta use straight for waterless would kill my pocket book. Someone in another thread brought up IUDJ+Juice Boost. That`s just about perfect for what I`m after, not cheap but not too expensive for what you get, well to me anywho. So I looked on Garry`s site and see Forever Rinseless. It`s cheaper than IUDJ+Juice Boost by a good amount. But I can`t find any comparisons of the 2. Is IUDJ+Boost worth the extra $$$?

Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
Never tried it but mixing ech20 with a sio2 sealant has never gave me the inkling to try anything else. You’ll be adding protection by way of sio2 sealant and that Ech20 gloss is NICE!
The right up I read said it’s like IUDJ and infinite Force Field (his coating?) had a baby this would be it. Says can be used as stand alone protection or to add to the Force Field coating. Sounds like what your looking for.
I’d still say give the Merlin’s mix a try.

Looking into getting some rinseless for this winter. Could I mix the rinseless solution with Beadmaker or is that a no-no?

Re: What is your favorite rinseless wash ?
I’d say yes... but seeing as beadmaker isn’t so durable don’t know if it would benefit. That Merlin’s mix gives you bout a week and the sio2 sealant is more durable.
I’d say give it a shot 2oz Ech2o and maybe 4oz of BM?
