Re: Meguiar`s detailer d101
It is my current go to All Purpose Cleaner, I have a bottle diluted at 4:1 that I occasionally use for tires or more stubborn interior areas and a bottle at 1:10 for interior and exterior cleaning. For the price it is a very low risk cost to try it out. The 1:10 mixture has taken care of pretty much anything I`ve used it for, good stuff and I just bought the 2 gallon deal with the sprayer bottle from the Autopia store to restock on it. I use it for wheels too when they are not filthy, saves me from using up my more expensive cleaners like Sonax/Ferrex and such.
Re: Meguiar`s detailer d101
It should be great. The trick (if you dont already) is to spray and let dwell.

The problem I`ve had in past with spraying and letting it dwell is the runs that would occur and occasionally stain

Like the other day when i did the sleeper semi interior i went through over a quart of cleaner just for walls and such.
But a cheaper steamer
Check out McCulloch
Made in `Merica
Love mine
Distilled warer is a buck a gallon.

I presume it doesn`t work well if you need d101 inside?

I think it works well, i just feel that using a steamer in some cases are just to slow. I also generally use it for cleaning seats and such and have a natural oil called purify in it that kills odor causing bacteria, so it is hard to use it on vinyl. I`ve also had it where it started to take off some of the coloring of the dyed dash as i was removing the caked on grease from years of neglect.

Could i be doing it wrong ,I`m sure i might as I ended up teaching myself how to use it. I got it long before i even heard of autopia or the evil twin ag. iIt was something that i thought of might help especially when i had friends who have some drastic allergies and reactions to different scents and such.
Re: Meguiar`s detailer d101
I have yet to find an interior my little McCulloch couldn`t tackle
Steam kills bacteria too
I don`t work on oil stains or anything so I guess I could see a need for other than steam at times.

Several years back I steam cleaned a headliner on a Prius that I guess the previous owner was a heavy smoker and it came off pretty well.
I guess I`ve never seen a nicotine stain if that wasn`t it

more the nicotine on the vinyl fabric it`ll come out, but on vinyl it will work but takes so much more time. If i use the steamer on vinyl i generally charge extra.

Did you try agotating with boars hair brush or tampicl brush? Generally works well withy steamer as its not as powerful as the fancy ones

Have not as there is still so much to learn and new things come out. I`ve learned a lot already from you and others in the short time I`ve been on here
