I do agree with you that it would be great if people actually posted their true experience profile but that will become very evident quickly when you hire them. That fact is, you can`t trust what anyone says or writes; irregardless if they lift the information from other sources. Word of mouth based on experience is best. Proof really is in the pudding so what a website, card or flyer says is only as good as their first detail. After that, it really doesn`t matter what is posted.
Whether Kevin is good or not, I have no idea but if customer`s appreciate his work, he`ll do fine with or without a website.
Look at it another way, imitation is the highest form of flattery. Your site is effective enough that others are willing to copy it :D That`s gotta be an ace in your pocket that if a detailer likes what you say, potential customer should probably as well. It`s a catch 22 in that he could be losing customer to the imitator`s but at least you know the site is at least good enough to capture their attention.
