I ended up purchasing the 6" random orbit sander the Porter Cable #7336 then I bought the accessory kit from CMA.
Ah, I just got one of those I have not use it yet.
Cool a Cyclo Polisher. Those look really nice. However they are quite a bit more expensive than the PC. Let us know how you like it.

Have you tried your Cyclo yet?
Yes I do like it but the one I have has only one speed setting.
Hopefully you don`t take this the wrong way but are you SURE you can not adjust the speed? I would think a 300.00 polisher would have some sort of speed adjustment. Different jobs need different levels of speed.
If you are right I am glad I never got one of those.
I am pretty sure it`s one speed which I did not know when I order it but I keep it anyway. I almost use it everyday and its seem to do a good job. It was my first buffer I every had and I did not know about this web site then. I think the price is high on it too and hope to pick up a PC someday to try out. For some reason lot of airplane and Airstream`s detailers use these buffer`s alot.
Have you used the cyclo to remove any swirls? A friend has one that I can borrow. It`s run off an air compressor. Need to use it on a black car that has swirls bad. Will use it with some 3M 39009? and Meguires 2.0. I just need to get the pads. I figure it will cost me $34 to get the pads I need. I was thinking of getting the PC but I`ll only use a buffer this one time and I can borrow it again if needed. Any Comments?

I have not try to remove swirls with my cyclo yet. Maybe someone here might know if the cyclo will do the job but I am not sure.
Thanks for your quick reply. Hopefully someone here can comment. I was thinking of using an air regulator to change the speed of the Cyclo.

I know the cyclo has velcro pads. Are the PC pads velcro as well?
Id rather have the cyclo than the PC but I cant see spending 300 just yet.
*BTW, I had my car done this week by a detailer out of L.I. and the cyclo really impressed me with the results it produced after the compound was used with a high speed. Cyclo :xyxthumbs
