Re: 2023 Porsche 911
Sizzle:
1) Did you do anything "special" to the fabric top?
2) What were the paint thickness readings (AKA, measured paint thickness number) on this particular Porsche?
3a) Are Porsche chromed rims clear coated or bare chrome OR is it polished aluminum/metal?
3b) AND what did you put on this particular Porsche`s rims?
4) The leather seats look perforated (IE; having holes in the leather for appearance or maybe cooling ventilation) What technique do you use to avoid
filling in the holes with McKee`s 70/30 leather lotion (conditioner)?
Nice work on a white Porsche. This color just makes the wheels/rims look MASSIVE on this Porsche.

Re: 2023 Porsche 911
Thank you Lonnie!
Nope, nothing special. A good cleaning was all that was needed.
I`m sure I took readings, I just looked on my phone and can`t find the pics, if there were anything out of the ordinary, I would have posted.
Cleared. Received Hydro Blue/and I coated the outside faces w/Singular.
Yes, ventilates seats. I find that if you don`t load up your towel/applicator it won`t `fill in` your perforations and it works well.
They do look BIG!!!

Re: 2023 Porsche 911
Scott! I finally got my Herc Polsiher. I love this thing. I am using the 5" Flex backing plate and LC SDO pads, the orange just glides. If I need something fierce, the LC Low Lint Foam backed Wool pad works great.
Do you know if the Boss creams are Non-Diminishing?
How many section passes do you typically do with each FCC and PC?
Do you find you can compound and polish a vehicle with that set more than once (I know you coat every vehicle, so you may not need to, but just curious)..
Thanks for the help!

Re: 2023 Porsche 911
Hey Andrew, glad you are liking it!!
I believe they are, but I’m not 100%
Passes depend on paint ‘hardness’, Level of defects etc. So no real number here.
Yep, I’ve done a few vehicles more than once with this combo. Just check your paint readings to make sure!
