"Dry" carpet cleaning vs. Wet? Your opinions?
Hi All, I see more and more products that are sprayed on , let to soak, agitate and then blotted off vs. the old wash mitt and shop vac method on carpets. I dont like the drying time associated with the wet mitt method on seats. What do you use and/or feel is better? I`d like to cut the time down and still have good results.

This is going to sound crazy but try using dry foam like Blue Coral and foamed wool pad on a rotary or DA to clean seats. It works better than anything I`ve ever tried, cleans evenly which is important, and drys quickly.

Had not heard of foamed wool, looked it up I will give it a try!

The reason for the foamed wool is because it doesn`t shed like traditional pads do. You definatly don`t want to fling wool all over an interior lol. Good luck with it :)

If it`s a secret that`s fine too I`m just curious.

6.5" LC PFWs on upholstery? Interesting.... so you don`t ever find linting issues?

Yeah I knew they did on paint, but figured the interior cloth would still rip one apart. I`ll have to give it a shot the next time I detail an interior with cloth seats.
