I always wash again after claying..just to make sure you got all the gunk off..

I too washed with Z7 then Z6`d (to ensure no spots of any kind) prior to beginnning my first Z adventures a few weeks ago.

After washing with DAWN, I like to clay with Zaino Z7 wash. This way I`m washing and claying as I go and there`s no need for another wash. I guess it really depends on which brand of clay you used and what lube solution was used if another wash is needed. Then , just proceed with Zaino as per instructions....

Why did claying suck?
~puterbum
(off to finish claying his car so he can hit it with PC)

its just soo tedious!!! lol
btw I just got finished putting the z1 and z5 on, a little tip to myself, dont try to apply in thin coats in a dimly lit garage!! lol I coudlnt see if i was applying it or not so i ended up wasting some.
Well Im still new to this whole scene so im getting used to it. I also tried both the foam and cotton app and I like the cotton one better.

Had you seen this? Works great and those big Viking apps are excellent!
Waiting to get my hands on a Eagle One app a fellow Autopian got for me!

Hey guys, I just did my friend`s car today. i`m used to doing my Black car, but when i Z`ed my friend`s white car, i couldn`t see zaino at ALL! i used the viking applicator and it seemed like it was extremely thin. and i couldn`t see zaino on the paint!
Z2 + ZFX ... after 30 mins -> 1hr i buffed off blindly because i couldn`t see any Z on the car =(
ANyone else with a white car in my situation?
it was VERY WEIRD!

PC`ing yet Puter? [/b]</blockquote>Yeah! I PC`d the hood . . . and then went back to claying. I just came in to eat a half hour ago . . . i was claying under the rear bumper skirt. Way too much tar! Almost done though, then PC the rest of the car! I am slow!! LOL
Glad to hear the viking app worked out for you, I picked one up for my Z5/ZFX!

bFWD staining pads
has anyone ever experienced BFWD staining there pads?
I did not use the orange pad with bfwd i bagged up the two pads and they rubbed together on the way home. I cleaned the pads with snappy clean and nothing happened. should i just use that red pad for now on with BFWD or can i use it with other products despite the staining?

BFWD does not clean up with Snappy Clean.
In fact, I think it just about impossible to get out of the pads. It seems to be an oil based product that snappy clean, or soap & water, cannot cut.
I have given up trying.
I keep one pad to use with BFWD, wash it as best I can, but keep it separate and only use it with BFWD.
