Re: Marine polishing and Wax
I`d go with a synthetic. I`ve used Klasse AIO/SG on boats in the past with great success. Durable, nice shine, and no friction in the water!

SG is Klasse Sealant Glaze.

I think he is saying that he used Klasse AIO followed by Klasse Sealant Glaze.
Lots of good products out there for marine use. I happen to use Meguiar`s Flagship Premium Marine Wax.

That is indeed what I was saying. I never bothered to look for good marine sealant/wax, since I already had the Klasse and it worked fine for me.
I suspect that products developed specifically for marine use might have some advantages, so might be worth a look.

collonite, I find is very good finishing products. if you need anything for compounding, I usally use 3M finnesse it. It works great. I think it only comes in GAllons, so if you dont want that much, try any 3m or megs marine lines for the compounds or things like that.

They are not available at any of the local outlets in my area.
To try their Insulator Wax, I had to order it on-line from a company that I didn`t need anything else from. That meant the entire shipping cost was for the Collinite. It ended up being around $22 for the Insulator Wax.

The finish on the boat is in pretty good shape. Should I use a polish (if so what grade?) or should I use a light rubbing compund?
