Beautiful work. Beautiful car. It must be an experience just driving around in it.
What`s it got under the hood. If I`m not mistake, I think the hot engine was the 383.
Nice looking car, and it`s a convertible. Definitely a keeper.
Thanks, my dad went with a 400 w/ 3.55 and a 4 speed, as my dad said it is a man eater.
Sounds like a nice setup. I had a 67 Camaro with a 350, 3.90 gears and a M21 4 speed. The car could smoke the tires down the 1/4 mile. Your dad`s car is sweeter, but I really miss that car.
Beautiful car. My first car was a 66 GTO. Bought it for $300. More car than a 15 year old should have. I loved this car even if it was broken more then it ran. What great memories.
What a great lookin` car! :bigups
Do you or your father have any before pics, or when he was just starting his restore project?
4 years... thats a really long time. it took my dad about half a year to restore his el camino. thats some really sweet paint thats on there. nice nice nice
:bow Wow, what a beautiful car! I`m offically jealous.
He does have pics from along the way but none that were taken with a digital cam. I have to scan then in on of these days.
Sweet ride. Style & power, they used to really make some nice cars.
Beautiful car. Hope my final detailing comes out that good on my 69 GTO Judge. Just about done with it. I still have to apply the wax and then take the pictures. :o)
What products did you or your dad use for detailing your GTO?
I had a 67 Goat with a 400 with the slap stick tranmission. NOw a real fast car off the line but at 50 you could bark the tires. I miss that car!
Nice work on the car lots of good summer crusing
