All I`ve been doing is hitting it with my new mix of 1Z Lackfinish/distilled water for now.

It may look good in pics, but it does have some swirls and micro-marring that I have to remove. It`s been busy, so I`ve yet to find the time to correct it.

I`ll bring those new pads (Surbuff) which are the ones like a fuzzy pad. Interesting pads, only used one once.

Poorboy`s World will have all the products. Let`s see how many things I can stuff into the SC430
    :-p

Only downside.... Wife going to Woodbury damn it! I can only imagine the amount of clothes I`ll be bringing back including shoes! Gee, can`t wait for that part of the day.. WOnder how long before she wears out the mag-stripe on the credit card.

    See you all there!

    Regards,
    Deanski

    Exclamation Checklist for Attendees

For those of you planning to attend PB Detailing Day this weekend, here is a quick checklist of items that will be provided on-site as well those items you are expected to bring yourself.

Poorboy`s will provide for your use:
    - The full line of Poorboy branded products, except microfiber towels.
    - Water source, hose, buckets, and mitts for washing vehicles. Sorry, no brushes will be provided.
    - Ice cold bottled drinking water all day.
    - A few pop-up tents will be available.

    Your responsibilities:
    - Upon arrival, drive to the East side of the building and park where indicated.
    - Sign in at the registration table and receive a name tag.
    - If possible, arrive with a freshly or recently washed vehicle. While washing implements will be available on site, time would be better spend on other aspects of detailing.
    - Provide your own PC and/or rotary buffer along with all necessary accessories such as electrical extension cords, pads, bonnets, wrenches, and connectors.
    - Provide your own applicator pads and microfiber towels.
    - If desired, bring your own lawn chairs and sunscreen.
    - PLEASE LEAVE ALL OTHER PRODUCTS AT HOME
    - At the end of the day, please clean up after yourselves.

A quick survey regarding food... Which of the following would you prefer?

    a) pack your own lunch
    b) go out for lunch as a large group (LOL!)
    c) pick up lunch nearby (McDs, Wendy`s, Taco Bell, KFC, Subway, and a Shoprite Supermarket are all within a few blocks), and bring it back to eat at a tent with tables.

Any plans for another one if this works out? I`m booked all weekend or else I`d go and I really need the $$ for my business trip to Texas. BTW, if there is another one and Steve doesn`t mind, I`d be willing to install some Xpel kits on anybodys car at a very good discount.

How long should the extension cord be?

    PC = No problem

Lunch = Makes me no mind... Typicly don`t eat lunch however if I had to choose ...I would either pack a lunch or say fast food is good enough for me!

    What time should we arrive?

    DAMN IT!

    Steve,

Please make sure you have some EX-P to purchase....

Dumb ass me... I ran over the bottle:beat :doh :eek

I just got done doing the wheels and moved the car. CRUNCH! OH SH**T... Bottle held up I thought, then I noticed it leaking, cracked just a small amount on the bottom. I quickly xfered what I had left to an 8oz squeeze bottle.

Well, at least the wheels look nice!:-p

On top of that, the spray bottle of Megs EK started to skim-up. Didn`t noticed untill part-way through spraying the wheel wells, then noticed the white flecks! Oh yea, this is just gonna be one of those days... Luckly, it setup and the flakes are gone. Trash that bottle!

I`m holding off applying any wax to the EX-P untill Saturday so we can all view the effects on the red.

    See you all there!!!

I don`t know if I can in good conscience allow hard working people to eat fast food. I may have to pack the Weber grill. It fits neatly in the trunk of the GP. Then again, if I`m cooking, I won`t be waxing....hmmm.

That`s what the problem was with a bbq Scott...if everyone is detailing, who wants to be the cook and then what about grease in the air:dunno ...can you imagine :eek :bigscream

Thought about some snacks too, but greasy finger prints:nono

    Oh soooo much to consider

May have discovered another use for a PB`s product !!

EX-P instead of black tar driveway sealer, hmmm both are sealers, let us know how the driveway holds up.

Steve better have a bunch of 5-gal pails ready for fall spreading if the testing in positive

Not so bad, got some on the tires... The rest, picked-up with towel and threw it out.

As for eats, ah who cares? Oh wait, the waler is comming, better have something then...

BBQ would be nice, but it would be better if it was catered so no one has to cook. If it was located far enough away from the site, that`s fine! Maybe next time we`ll have to "donate" to the BBQ fund prior to the day so it can be accomplished. Then, no need to worry as long as you hit the magic number. Works for me!

Time to run some calls today.. Need to pay for my wife at Woodbury.

There are dozens of restaurants along Route 9w. No one has to eat fast food, but I`m not sure that people will want to waste a lot of time eating when they could be detailing instead. The quickest thing that isn`t fast food would be the Chinese buffet located in the Shoprite shopping center. We could also have one of the pizza joints deliver pizza and hoagies. :dunno

The Whaler will not be in attendance. He will make his appearance in Detroit if Steve ever has a Detail Day there.
