The Super Bowl weather forecast continues to deteriorate. Last week`s predictions were for the low 60s, early this week those had been lowered to the low 50s and now they are hoping for mid-40s.
Here we have just reached the critical stage...Mrs. Clean announced we are down to the last bit of hot sauce (that`s salsa).
Spoke earlier today with a guy up in Seattle, they were in the 50s...what the heck is wrong with that picture?

Fox News reported that Al Gore is burning his carbon credits to keep warm.
Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It`s good to be da King !!!
The weather guys will remind us that weather does not equal climate...
Is it possible that climate change could be responsible for such anomalies as it is warmer in Fargo, ND and Rapid City, SD than in NE Texas?

AND....wait for it..... It`s snowing again.
During the 10pm newscast as a shout out to our Wisconsin visitors, the weather guy advised the viewers that it was warmer back in Green Bay than in their temporary D/FW location.
But, there is a ray of hope, we have sunshine and promised afternoon temps of mid-30s! Though memory is short, I think this rivals the weather events from the 80s, but it feels that this snow has hung around longer, maybe because it was buffered by a substantial coating of ice between it and the ground.

Got the 1 1/2 in of ice cleared off the driveway yesterday and now its snowing and the drive is covered over again.Wanted to move south years ago and the wife said she loved seeing the change of seasons up north here and didn`t want to move. After she fell this week I asked her how that change of seasons thing going. LOL.
Can`t wait for spring and summer vacations. Until then their is plenty of Gentleman Jack in the cabinet.
The news was on all day yesterday from 4:00 am to 6:30 pm to cover the Winter Storm. We got 1/4" to 1/2" of ice and it was an all day news event. The overpasses were a mess and there were 800 accidents reported yesterday. Add in the fact taht they toss what basically amounts to gravel instead of sand on the roads, and there will be even more automotive carnage.
Tow companies made a killing. Mechanical shops stayed busy and body shops are packed. The gravel on the roads will be good business for chip repair and windsheild replacement companies.

Scott P, gravel? really? TXDOT uses a sand/magnesium mixture in the D/FW metroplex. Unfortunately it is limited to selected segments of State supported roadways due to product availability. I heard this year they had some sort of a new liquid product they were using. The problem with magnesium, as explained by TXDOT, is that it is only good when temps are somewhat moderate or it too will freeze. Late yesterday, early this a.m. they secured some snow plows and were working to clear overpasses! Sorry Steve, and Pockets you just didn`t get down here quite soon enough.
