Spray and Wipe, and Spray and Gloss....whats the difference? I guess I could do some reading and figure it out, but I`m feeling lazy

Spray and Wipe is a waterless wash.
Spray and Gloss is a quick-detailer with an emphasis on gloss enhancing.

Both of these are Poorboys product. As suggested the S&W is a waterless wash for cleaning the car.

The S&G is a gloss enhancer that in some cases can leave a bit of protection but in most all cases is just a gloss enhancer

Re: Question about a couple products

Are they the same product with one containing more water than the other? Or is that some other product in the Poorboys line?

This really is a question for Steve, but they are two different products used in two different ways. The S&W is a waterless wash. It adds no protection or has a glass enhancer..The S&G is a gloss enhancer and not to be used to remove dirt as the S&W is.

You might be thinking off Bird S#!t Remover. It was a more concentrated version of S+W. Has been discontinued.

    basically that`s about it:

Spray and Wipe is a cleaner with more lubrication than soap and water and no protection...

Spray & Gloss has little to no cleaning ability and is for Gloss Enhancing with a little protection ... I love this best on a wet vehicle before drying

so the answer is they are not much alike at all

    Steve,

What`s your recommendations on ratios of mixing QD and S&W for the best of both worlds. Or do you have a product like that already?

I don`t recommend people being their own chemist, but some people do.

Products are made to work for a specific purpose ie .. Spray and Wipe for cleaning and returning a vehicle to the condition it was before it got dirty, whereas Spray and Gloss should be used on a relatively clean vehicle to enhance the shine. If you mix them you get some cleaning and some gloss but not what you would get if used separately.
If you were looking for some of both, I`d use QD+ , and surprise it`s the give-away today. It has some cleaning ability, Gloss enhancers, and wax for protection.

I thought there was a product that was sort of like both.

Re: Question about a couple products

For what it is worth Spray & Wipe is one of the few products that I would NOT be without! Buy a gallon for the win. It is so flexible.....use it on the paint, the glass, computer screens, furniture, coated leather, and on & on.....a must have.
