Met Dennis Gage at a show when he was looking at the 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie lightweight we restored. He was nice enough to go get one of his promo shots and sign it plus take a picture together in front of the car. A real genuine car guy.

The 2 standing by Steve are Sam Memmolo and Dave Bowman, who had a show called "Two Guys Garage" and one called "Shadetree Mechanic." I`m not sure what shows they`re on now.
yes that is them plus Matt Steele and Bruno from a truck show..Matt Steele just signed on with Autogeek to do some promo work.

Where are all the Mustangs? You disappoint me Steve. I know there are a lot of them there. Bring me one back since I don`t think mine is ever going to show up.

I just do not think tv personalities are automatically that special. It is people that I know that can be special.

I agree. It is nice to know though there are people of celebrity who don`t let it get to their head.

Automatically, no. With that said, though, I`ve found that for the most part the guys who host automotive programs are genuinely good people who are passionate about the industry/hobby. They aren`t the self-absorbed Hollywood types that a lot of people with "fame" can be.

yeah Mike there were some Mustangs there, but they really didn`t stand out as out of the ordinary .. I also did not do a lot of the show as it is soooooooo big, but the few i saw just were Shelbys with not much that made them stand out

Had a customer bring his Lambo/Mustang to the show a few years back. I didn`t get to go see it`s debut but heard it created quite a stir. Cutting up a new Lambo and new mustang and combining the two had both sides talking. He does think outside the box though.

Wasn`t sure what brought that car to life. Big money invested.

The other projects I`ve worked on for him were Z06 suspensions and drivetrains under 58 vette, 55 chevy, 57 nomad and a 70 Challenger called Insidious.

That mustang was the extreme but is fully functional. Don`t know if he had anything this year.

Still, thanks to everyone letting us peek at the show this year.
