    Streaking with NL?

I have been using PB Natural Look for a few years. After trying different products I found that PB NL is the hands down winner. Love the product and it has always worked perfectly for me. That is until now.

The new Mazda we got has a black dash. When I wipe on NL it leaves some smears. I buffed it but later when I look at the dash it still has smears. I buff more and can eventually get them out.

Is this because the dash is black, it`s new, or the material? Any recommendation on application method? I use an MF with a little spray of NL and wipe down the dash buffing where needed. I`ve had no streaking or smearing issues on other cars.

    Re: Streaking with NL?

I`ve seen this happen on a black dash in a Ford truck and though I don`t have an explanation as to why, it kind of seemed like after I had done this a few times the dash became "seasoned" and the problem went away. I kind of wondered if it had something to do with a new dash still out gassing. I still do this truck with some frequency and the NL goes on easy and looks great.

My Moms Sonata has black interior and has always been a pain to dress. Even after 5 or 6 years it still streaks. I`ve done a ton of black interiors in Jeeps and never had a prob...maybee the material has something to do with it.

I would guess it`s a little of the out gassing and also using microfiber ... microfiber tends to absorb as it`s spreading ..try applying with cotton and then buffing with cotton

I think some new cars are coming with non-cooperating plastic
