    Couple questions(Black hole with PC)

Hey guys had some issues yesterday.
I did a basic wash and applied BH with my PC and then some Red on top. This was the first time applying the BH with the PC. It seemed as if the BH was not coming off easily after letting it haze up and I needed to use the QD to remove it.

Then when I was removing the RED there was some smearing going on.

So my question is what is the best way to go about using the PC with blackhole?

Set your PC to med low you don`t want to spin it to fast, use a finishing pad...and work it in real good, sounds like you had to much product on the car.

Cool I was using it at 5 or 6 with a finishing pad, that must have been it.

Should I apply it similar to the way of polishing? I thought I could move it around a little quicker .

Today was also my first time using it by PC. I had a bottle of Black Hole sitting in the garage for awhile but never seemed to need it. I was doing a correction on a black Lexus (hate that paint) and needed it to fill in some stray swirls. I applied it at speed 4 and it seemed to work in pretty quickly, I didn`t use very much product but it actually came out ok.

So yesterday I had some more smearing after removing the Natty`s. I starting to think it was from when I washed my MF towels, maybe something is on there.

I have never had issues with it before.

I don`t think so, I purposely went really light with it.

sounds more like the Red had not set up long enough, it was hot and humid yesterday which will lead to a longer flash time

Why is this happening??? The car was fine on Friday and Saturday, I drove it 60 miles yesterday and I noticed this this morning. It will wipe right off but I don`t know WTF is going on.

This engine bay gets extremely hot.

Don`t waste your time with a glaze just correct the problem and then know what ya got. Glaze is not a great base to start stacking things on top of. Its again not great on a car that gets washed and dried often. Its for show cars, and works as a cheater product on most everything else.

those are some strange looking marks ... definitely not a Black Hole by machine issue as those look like hand wiping marks and are going in too many different directions. I would wash it and then try a coat of Natty`s Blue or Polish w/ Sealant and see what you have

Re: Couple questions(Black hole with PC)

Is the problem only over the engine bay? or is it on the roof and rear deck lid as well? Anything on the side panels? Looks like somepin got mixed in with the wax.
