Cost
Previous years we had always had no cost associated with our Detailing Weekend, but due to the amount of people who said they were coming and did not even call or e-mail to say they were not coming, and the fact that Pockets and I ate hamburgers and hot dogs for weeks after the last event, we will have to implement a $20 space and food fee to be paid in advance by paypal (poorboysworld@att.net) or credit card.
NAMES WILL BE ADDED TO LIST UPON RECEIPT OF THE FEE

Your $20 fee will include:
1) a reserved parking spot
2) lunch for either or both days
3) Ice cold bottled drinking water all day
4) The full line of Poorboy’s World branded products, except microfiber towels, pads etc...
5) Water source, hose, buckets, and mitts for washing vehicles.
Sorry, no brushes will be provided.
6) A few pop-up tents will be available by lottery style ..not first come first serve ..we encourage you to bring your own tent

For anyone wishing to stay over and needing a room, our friend GusGus has arranged a SUPER deal at a Hampton Inn not far from us. The room is $88 plus taxes ...
He was able to block off 10 rooms. At least 6 are now spoken for ...

The list is at a baker`s dozen. I hope some more folks join in on a great event. I see a lot of newbies lately. This is a good event to learn paint polishing and get some hands on experience. Last year they even demonstrated how long it takes to burn clean through a hood with a rotary. Oh, did I mention the Buffet Saturday night?

Well Dave, it looks like a bakers dozen, but if you remove the people who are just coming to help and not really detail the list is short ... if there is not more interest soon, we may just have to cancel the event

yeah, if it comes down to it, we will probably just have a few people come and hang out, relax and eat ... maybe move the event to a park if that`s the case bring a bathing suit
but we will wait a few more weeks to see if anything changes
