I don`t know how young txrockstar is, but I can`t imagine doing an entire hood by hand...by choice....You must work the SSR2.5 until it basically disappears. If you stop early you will have hazing and more scuffing as you will not have broken down the diminishing abrasives...

It`s been a while since I was in and around Caddo Mills, but my initial reaction is that it is much more to my liking than Allen, though Allen is probably considered to be more "modern". We used to spend quite a bit of time in and around Hunt Co. bird hunting. I`ll bet you`ll come closer to finding boarding/pasture land for those horses in that area also. Enjoy!

We bought a house with 2 acres. So the horse will be on our property. The horse is still in PA. Once we settle on May 5th, our goal is to get the barn on order and the fencing installed in the back yard. Of course we will have the barn delivered before we close the back yard up. We have about 1100` of fencing to install for the back yard. I will make sure I post some before, during and after photos.
I think down the road I will fence the front yard for another pasture. But for know, the back yard is a PROJECT!!
Once you get settled in, I`ve heard really good things about the burgers at Bucky`s Cafe.

Will keep bucky`s in mind.
Spoke to txrockstar on the phone and I will be heading over to his
house tomorrow to see what I can do with his issue. Does not sound
too bad from talking to him. Will bring both the flex and pc and some
pads along. Maybe he can do some practicing on my car since it is néed
of a polish job bad!!!!
Met with txrockstar (chuck) today at his house. Like I expected, it was not that bad.
So I started with the pc and ssr 1 with a polishing pad. Did a quarter of the hood and
bam, good as new. Next was Chuck`s turn with the pc. Worked like a charm.
We did the other half of the hood with the flex, ssr 1 and polishing pad. I feel we did a 99% correction on the hood. Chuck was going to top with 2 coats of ex and next week a coat of (vanilla moose wax??)
it was a pleasure meeting you Chuck. You can always call if you run into any other issues.
Nice job Redwings. Glad it wasn`t as bad as txrockstar imagined.
txrockstar, if you are still following this thread...do not top your 2 coats of EX with VM. You will more than likely undo some of what you have accomplished with the EX. Read on CK`s website the intended use of VM. AFAIK it is not intended as a topping glaze. It will compromise your EX. If you want a glaze, check out PB`s Black Hole. But you will want to top that also.
