Gosh, I am sorry to hear of this, Steve. Mobility is an important part of the human condition. Walkers and crutches are the new tools that you will need these next few weeks. Use them and do not put weight on your foot too soon.
Stay off your feet as much as possible. Keep your foot elevated and relax. Plus the ice and meds that others have mentioned. It won`t get better quicker by ignoring the need to stay immobile.
