    PB EX-P Question

    I finally got a bottle of EX-P!

But now I need to know how to use it! Is it like other sealants I`ve used that need to cure for 12+ hours before topping with another coat or a wax?

I`m detailing a friend`s Lexus tomorrow and may use it.

    Thanks.

    Re: PB EX-P Question

use a damp applicator and put on a thin coat ...it will be hard to see ... let it sit about an hour ... then apply a second coat the same way .... after that you should wait 12-72 hours before topping... if you aren`t interested in durability and only looks, then it can be topped with a wax after an hour or two

    Re: PB EX-P Question

Hmm. I`m detailing a white Lexus that I did in September.

He says it`s dirty but I assume it will only need a wash and wax (or sealant). So should I go for EX-P or Natty`s Red? Tomorrow is going to be a beautiful day here so I`m taking to opportunity to detail it between the cold weather. I assume EX-P would give me better durability, or no?

No kidding - Never heard that you can use S&G on the applicator before. Does it help the shine or just application of EX-P?

    Re: PB EX-P Question

I used the EX-P on the Lexus today. Awesome stuff!

The day turned out to be not as nice as predicted. It was overcast and windy. The car was fairly dirty so I gave it is good wash and once dry I applied a coat of EX-P. I let it dry for an hour and then buffed it off. I was afraid it might be tough to buff off but it was easy!

I followed up with a second coat that stayed on for about 30 minutes. It looked great. A very nice shine I snapped a couple of pictures but the lighting was bad.

The owner called me and left a voice mail just gushing at how great it looked!
