Looks good to me, but I didn`t have any problem with the old site.
This one might have a more modern appearance, but that`s just fancy packaging and isn`t needed.
The glitz does have a lot of appeal to lots of people.

I like it. The words in the header are definitely easier to read. It also doens`t look quite as "busy" as the current page.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.
I like the pic of the guy hugging the car.... but you may want to think about a clean shiney car pic instead.
Other than that, very nice.
I like it alot. It seems to be a little cleaner than the current site, in the fact that it seems more professional. The colors and header go together very well.

doesn`t anyone miss the red Lexus on the header
Steve,
You asked, so here goes...
Your site appears to be targeting primarily those of us who already know and love your products. You may wish to really redesign the site, possibly with two user groups in mind:
1. the car owner / do-it-yourselfer who likes to keep his car clean, but is not aware that the tunnel wash is damaging his finish. He has heard of buffing, but not outside the context of a body shop. He does not really understand the difference between polishing, sealing and waxing.
Give him some choose and click options showing how to wash a car and what products will help; polishing, machine vs. hand and simple instructions and product suggestions; LSPs and microfiber; tires and wheels; interiors, etc.
2. the experienced car guy whose detailing knowledge is dated or who is not familiar with your product line. I`m always surprised to learn how little my car restoration/car show/hot rod/muscle car/biker buddies know about paint and detailing. I think that this group represents an untapped market for you.
my two cents from a very non-marketing guy.

You may be right but when I mention Poorboy products to people when they are thinking about detailing their car and they say what is that.
Those who are into detailing know about it most of the others will not be visiting the web site they have never heard of PB products.
They don`t know their is anything other than what is on the shelf at Wal-mart.
Recently I suggested to a friend that he put DG 105 on his van because I knew he would not touch it till next summer when it gets warm.
He when to Wal Mart and bought Meguiars Gold Class wax.
I know I mention PB on forums like bimmerfest and bimmerforums, so people who just want to make their car look nice may happen onto PB site.
That being said.
IMHO
If the site were compartmentalized or segregated if you want a wheel cleaner it would be under a section called tires and wheels. Clik that and then you find spray and rinse, and you will also see bold and bright and wheel sealant in the same section, so you may get a double hit or better.
