    water spot remover

I just used pp with an orange edge pad and exp with a white edge pad on my black pontiac grand am and it looked awesome. Well i was at my appartment and they decided to water the sod while i was at class. They ran the water sprinkler on the car for the better part of 5 hours nonstop. To make a long story short it was dusty before the water and i had some terrible water spots that didn`t come out with washing. Should i clay then us the pp and the exp like before or is there something else that will remove it. I tried a really bad spot with pp and exp and there was still a water spot in it if you looked closely. Thanks

Get on the clay asap so that the water doesn`t harden any more than it has...it should come off and what doesn`t will come of with the PP...follow the same routine with the PP and the EXP....oh and find a different place to park

sprinklers can be your worst enemy, the rust and minerals that sit in underground pipes ruined the paint on a Camaro of mine. You might also try washing thoroughly with some Bug Squash, I`ve taken off some nasty water spots with it.

Yeah water spots are a pain especially in the central valley where the water is more harsh. My trim even took a beating from the water. It stained the door handle trims an off color black.

I would even go so far as to say to scrub them with TR on a soft brush or toothbrush

    Excellent advise!

One could also try a vinegar wash, or if the spots are really bad, one might have to go to one of the "heavy duty" products, like FK`s Paint Decontamination products or a couple others that are available.
