    Not to Hi-Jack the thread but I need decal help. My trail Hawk has a matte black decal. I used essence to remove some unevenness and its like a 7/10, I want it back to perfect 10/10.

    I am not too afraid of ruining it because If I cannot fix, I will replace it. So bring on the ideas. Fix it to demolish it trying .

    512 should have an answer for you. he used some stuff on some details and it looked great

    I have polished the fake matte stripes on my hood with Rupes Yellow and Menz 4500 in the past..and I actually coated it last summer (pbl)

    edit: spray and wipe works .. spray and gloss will add a little gloss

    I prefer Celeste Dettaglio - Designed for matte and satin finishes
    personally but I would have never paid for it (showed up in a box last xmas from ACC)
