I find it best to spray it directly onto a MF cloth. I apply it to 1/3 of the car at a time (working in a cool garage) and then buff it off. It leaves a GREAT shine. I was spraying it directly onto the car but found that I was getting some overspray.

Thanks for the suggestions, I was going to try the PC, but got busy and only had time to try on the hood.
Besides adding UV and Carnuba, QD+ has some light cleaning ability too, correct? Not that I am using it to clean, just figuring out where to fit it in with EX, Nattys and S&G.
If applied with a PC it will clean well, if laid on like a wax, the cleaning ability will be very limited to the pressure you apply.
I`ve used QD+ for a few months and LOVE IT! QD+ isn’t a spray similar to S&W or S&G -It’s much thicker.
I’ve applied it (3) ways
(1) Spray on Wipe off a panel at a time: Not recommended. This product is too thick, and the spray isn’t uniform.
(2) Apply via a foam applicator: This works well, but a PC makes the job quicker.
(3) Apply via PC & a finishing pad. I mist on 3-4 squirts, and it covers one side of my car. It takes less than a ½ hour to apply/remove an entire car. I use QD+ after washes from time to time instead of Spray & Gloss. You can apply it to a damp surface if you blow dry first.
I’ve used QD+ as a LSP on top of sealer, after washes, and an in-between ‘tune up’ for Natty’s.
I think of QD+ as Poorboys version of a Liquid Natty’s. Maybe Steve will create a batch of Blue QD+ -Now THAT would be awesome (LOL)!
I knwo there are so many variables to this but how long of durabilty would you get if you used a qd+ as a stand alone lsp given you wash weekly?
Thanks
Greg
IMO, I wouldnt consider QD an actual Quick Detailer. simply becasue you need a PC. part of a QD is that you can give your car a quick shine rather than taking out the pc and a finishing pad and then buffing out in 30 minutes. I will stick to Adams and S&G for a true "Quick" detail.
I will say this - No matter what the name, I was very impressed at the shine and finish on my hood where I tried it by hand with a MF. Definitely recharged the Nattys shine, cleaned up "Honeydew" (the sticky stuff from trees that isnt sap, just bug droppings), and left surface very slick.
Maybe Quick Detailer isnt the right description, but "Detail Enhancer" sure is....
MGM - Do you mist the panel or the pad?
And I agree - BLUE QD "2" to the Rescue!!!!!!
its called qd+ because its a "quick detailer + a lot of time" .. lol

I have never tried it with the PC. I bet that comes out really nice. I may give that a shot tonight.
Thanks for the tip.
