Please give Steve some advanced notice if you would like specific products in gallon or 5 gallon sized containers. This is to ensure that he brings enough with him. These containers are heavy and take up a lot of space! :eek

Hi guys! I am new to this forum and I will probably come join you guys this weekend. This is a great opportunity for me to gain more experience with poorboy`s products as I am again looking for new polishes. I don`t know if I will be able to make both days, but I will try. See you all there! I will be bringing my friend along.

• The detailing clinic will take place at Rockland County Chevrolet Buick, 51 S Route 9W, West Haverstraw, NY 10993. The phone number is 845.947.2100. Activities will begin at 10:00am and end at approximately 4:30pm each day.

• Free bottled drinking water will be available for the duration of the event. A simple meal of hotdogs and chips will also be provided free of charge.


• A dinner event will begin at 6:30pm Saturday evening at the New Country Buffet, 175 Route 59, Spring Valley, NY 10977. The phone number is 845.371.8868. A sign-up sheet and written directions will be available at the registration table. [Disclaimer: Participants are expected to pay for their own meals and beverages.]


• An informal gathering will take place immediately after the Saturday evening dinner event. The location will be Steve’s room at the Candlewood Suites, 20 Overlook Blvd, Nanuet, NY 10954. The phone number is 845.371.4445. Written directions will be available at the event’s registration table.

Here is a last minute packing list for everyone planning to attend Detailing Weekend -


- Machine buffers (rotary, cyclo, PC) along with their associated pads, bonnets, wrenches, and connectors
- Long extension cords (100 ft +)
- Hand applicators (pads, mitts, tire swipes, foam paint brushes, etc.)
- Microfiber towels
- Gloves
- Pop-up tent
- Lawn chairs
- Sunscreen
- Insulated cooler with favorite beverages and snacks
- Sunglasses
- A change of clothing

:ticked We ran into a snag and I may not be able to make it. The motor work on the GTO will either be finished tonight or tomorrow. If it gets done tonight I will be driving :shift down a very dirty, 3 months uncovered in a mechanics garage, needing a bath and major detail 69 GTO Judge. When I look at it now it looks like it is crying because it feels neglegted. :boohoo

Steve, I will call you tonight to let you know one way or the other.

Hey guys -- I`ll be there. Will we have nametags with our real and "DetailCity" names so we can ID one another? I`ve arranged some internet get-togethers and it`s usually a good idea. I might have some name tags that I can bring, if you guys think it`s a good idea.
