I used to spend a lot of time on www.mustangworld.com when I had my 97 stang. I miss that car sometimes. Not in the winter, of course.

Thanks! Great site. The 2001 GT comes with stabilitrac and I haven`t had any problems in the rain yet. However, I cannot wait for this weekend because my brother-in-law just picked up a BMW 325Xi. I am going to give it a hard test drive and will most likely be posting some pics of her, because he has already requested a full Zaino treatment.

It`s a long story, but my dealership replaced my original wheels with these free of charge. I don`t know anything about these wheels, but I think they`re pretty cool. I believe that they are knock off Cobra wheels.

I`m looking at my 2002 Ford Racing Performance Parts catalog and they look like the 1998 SVT Cobra wheel, p/n M-1007-D178. They list for $150 each so free is sweet!

When I purchased my GT (3) of the factory GT wheels were damaged (curb rash), and I requested that they be replaced immediately. I was given the run around for the first week and made a special appearance at the dealership after the telephone conversations were getting me nowhere. A few more miscommunications between the service/sales/ and parts department extended my wait another (3) weeks and I barked up every tree imaginable before a resolution was met. The General Manager of the dealership was embarrassed over the situation and admitted that he would personally correct the situation.

He made good on his word and I am now a happy customer again.

<strong class=`bbc`>I will look into those wheels. I saw a picture of you in a previous post, and you like myself will probably never fit too comfortably into most sports cars....( 6`2" 230lbs.)

Thanks again for the info on the wheels !!!
