What`s your favorite pad?

LC Hydro Tech Tangerine on a Porter Cable with Wolfgang Polishes has allowed me to bring paintwork to its fullest potential. I like the firmness of HT pads. I also enjoy LC Flat pads, particularly the white and black.

I regularly use the Lake Country flat pads. I just picked up some of the HT pads but haven`t had a chance to use them.

I have lots of different ones but currently prefer Buff & Shine 5.5 foam and MF.

Which machine are you using?? Have you used many other pads?? And if so what drew you to that conclusion? And yes 5.5" is all I use as well beside the pickup I just made of a 3.5" plate and a small selection of 4" pads for my GG.

I am using a Griots 6". And I have all sorts of pads, colors, etc, it`s just on my car, the Black/Grey pads seem to just do the trick. My paint is super duper soft, so this pad with m205 or BF Finishing Polish is ideal for me!

3401 = 5" hybrid pads

GG 6" = BnS foam, Meg`s MF cutting pads and LC thin purple foamed wools pads

Strictly amateur here using GG6. Mostly work on Japanese cars so soft paint is my norm. Primarily use DAT polishes. Haven`t used enough MF pads to have an informed opinion.

BnS foam pads are my primary go to, the green especially.
I also have and occasionally use LC flat, LC HT (Tangerine & Crimson) and Scholl Concepts (orange mostly).

The 3" pads work awesome on a Griots 6" DA as well with the appropriate BP.
