    What`s your favorite pad?

I`ve been using B&S pads since I started and don`t have any complaints really just wondering what everyone else`s favorites are. I have some Meg`s MF cutting pads as well wasn`t a huge fan TBH. I am using all of them on a GG6" so list your favorite pads and your machine.

Using a PC. I didn`t like the Meg`s MF discs at first, but after some practice decided it was more user error.

I also use LC - the purple foamed wool, yellow, orange, white, and black pads. I like the versatility of having a wide range of pads.

I Hate and Like the Lake Country Hydro-Shred Cyan and Tangerine in the 5.25" size..
Stunning correcting and finishing down often to LSP ready..

Their Purple Foam Wool Pads are also very good especially on hard neglected Airplane Paint..
They are also very good on Auto Paint, but you need to be careful as they cut and finish very fast, depending on the Compound used, the hardness/softness of the paint, and the amount of correction needed..

All the above on Yes - You -Guessed it - Rotary Power...

The foam pad that I probably use the most is the Tangerine Hydro Pads. They make great 1 steppers. I also like the Buff & Shine White, Green and Orange. My favorite Microfiber pad is also the Buff & Shine. Works great with my Flex 3401.

Which machine are you using?? Have you used many other pads?? And if so what drew you to that conclusion? And yes 5.5" is all I use as well beside the pickup I just made of a 3.5" plate and a small selection of 4" pads for my GG.

Nope, but i`m going to be ordering some new pads in a month so I`ll start experimenting.

I`m using the RUPES most of the time, but the 6" works fine with the Griots IMO. The wool I use with my rotary polisher, but that`s rare

I can send you 1 each of the microfibers if you`d like. Just got a fresh batch in

That is a fantastic offer and I do appreciate it Trouble but I`m sure there would be someone far more worthy of it then I. I have a pair of the 5.5" cutting discs already I think I let them heat up too much my first go around as it was actually my first detail (the obvious clue here was that some of the Velcro on the bp melted lol, at least that was my biggest mistake this far). I`m sure I`ll give them another go when I have something worthy of it.

Such modesty. I wish that I had that characteristic

Heat is not a friend to any pad, but is sometimes necessary. When removing your pad do so with both thumbs. One pushing against the bp and the other slowly pulling the pad

LC Hydro Tech Tangerine on a Porter Cable with Wolfgang Polishes has allowed me to bring paintwork to its fullest potential. I like the firmness of HT pads. I also enjoy LC Flat pads, particularly the white and black.
