For both of my cars, just Z6 or OG Show-Off with a MT, and wiping down the interior.

Then I`m going to try Souveran and Paint Cleansing Lotion on my dad`s brick... err... Volvo.

I went outside earlier today and it was a bit nippy (40 degrees). Plus, I need to get my right rear window`s regulator replaced.

It`s supposed to be warmer next week and I will take care of it.

Today I waxed my roof, cleaned my wheels, waxed the door jams, Black Magic`d my running boards, and Back-to-Black`d my air deflector on the liftgate. I also took apart one of my fried amps in the back, so now it smells like burned-up amp and cologne! I also spot QD`d some places, and thats about it. I was going to wax my running boards before winter, but it wont get done today.

Worked until about 4:00. Then, pulled the right side wheels from the XJR. Cleaned with EF HI, Klasse AIO, Klasse SG, then remounted them.

    Tomorrow, who knows?

    The possibilities are:

    Wash XKR (for sure)

Souveran XKR (Only if I am going to take pictures)

    Wash XJR (for sure)

One or two more coats of Blackfire PP on the XJR

AIO and 303 engine bay of XJR

    AIO door jams of XJR

AIO trunk metal and jams of XJR

    Wax wordwork of XJR

    303 interior vinyl of XJR

Maybe get enough done that I can do some BF versus Klasse/Souveran pictures.

    :p

    hey dean,

the stang` looks awesome. i helped a friend of mine detail his gt this summer. it was in amazingly bad shape. it was hard to believe that a car could look so bad in only a year. i did drive it around for a while and it is definitely a ticket looking for a place to happen. hard not to have a big smile plastered on my face while driving a stang`.

Well, Steve, you know what they say, "no rest for the wicked."

Ahh, my wash plans are being aborted . . . a good chance of rain tomorrow.

OK, I got a lot accomplished on Sunday -- but not as much as I would have liked.

    Here`s the list:

    Wash XKR

    Souveran XKR

    Wash XJR

One more coat of Blackfire PP on the XJR (now 4 total)

AIO and 303 engine bay of XJR

    AIO door jams of XJR

AIO trunk metal and jams of XJR

    303 trunk plastic of XJR

    Thorough vacuum of both

By the time I got finished, there wasn`t enough light for any PF versus Klasse/Souveran pictures. Maybe soon.

    Hey michaelb,

those are nice rims on your XJR. Are they factory OEM`s or are they aftermarket? If AM, what brand? BTW, are they 18`s or 19`s? Nice car:up

    Thanks Neo.

Those are the factory wheels. 18s with 255/40 Pirelli P Zeros. It absolutely eats rear tires. They last about 12,000 mile! OUCH.

Those wheels were new for the 2000 XJR. The 98 and 99 models had a kind of clunky looking (IMO) 5 spoke. Check out this 99 on ebay and see if you agree with me.

Seattle got their "one-day a week" allotment of no rain on Sunday, Washed with Griots car wash, Griots wheel cleaner...dry with CWB and Chamois. Speed Shine quick detail spray, complete interior cleaning with Griots Vinyl/Rubber dressing.

Monday, took it to work in the rain.

with my son and some friends. The first day on the drive in it rained and the gravel roads were a mess.So monday morning started about 9am and I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned until about 12:30 pm non stop. This was just washing and QDing, but I had to crawl under the truck and clean frame, fender wells etc. to get all the dirt out.The truck looks great and no new scratches so this was a good trip!!Take care all
