    Question Need Product Advice?

    Hey Guys:

I need some help, I have recently moved to a new city and i can`t find a stinkin thing down here to do any paint correction!! Of which really stinks

I am looking for a good substitute. I am wondering what can and can`t be used by hand to take out minor swirl marks and a few scratches out? I was thinking recently of using either meguiars no. 9 or scratch x 2.0

Other then that i have no ideas? Any suggestions??

I suggest meguiars ultimate compound if working by hand, but it will take forever.

    Have you considered a polisher:

I`m sure Angelo can put together a nice kit for you, complete with machine, pads and polishes. Give him a call!

    Yes.

I would have ordered from Proper autocare. But unfortunately my hand has been forced, their is a car i want to get and i don`t think it will last long on the market! So i need to do my montaineer rather quickly:Car smiley:.

I am just hopein to find some ultimate compound! So far i have only found scratch x or meguiars no. 9

I would echo Bryan`s suggestion and look for Ultimate Compound locally. It uses the non-diminishing `SMAT` abrasives which really increase the working ability of the product while creating minimal swirl.

M09 is very mild and will likely not produce the results you are after with out a lot of work. ScratchX2.0 is another likely contender as it does a great job of removing damage with little additional swirl.
